Interface not recognised

Post by Waltar »

I have a siudi 7A and I cannot get suite 2 to recognise the device.

so far I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and software, as far as I can tell the drivers are correct (I can compare it to another machine with the same software installed, and everything is the same). Windows recognises it as "Intelligent Usb Dmx Interface (SIUDI7A, 32/64bits)".

I did try to update the firmware but I get an error message saying "The program cannot start because tszd.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Not sure if this is relevant.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit

I just cant get suite 2 to see it.... what else can I try?

So an update on the situation....
I have installed sunlite 2 on yet another machine and it works perfectly, unfortunately that machine doesn't have the graphics power I need.

heres the info:

Machine 1
Samsung Laptop
Intel core i7-3610qm [email protected]
8GB RAM
64 Bit, running windows 7

On this machine the siudi 7a is recognised by sunlite however, the orange light is the only one on and the display flashes "OFF"

Machine 2
ASUS G73JW
Intl core i7 Q740 @1.73 GHz
8 GB RAM
64 bit, running windows 7

This Is the machine I need to use, but suite 2 just opens in demo mode. windows seems to see it just fine.

Machine 3
HP Compaq PRO 6300 SFF
Cori I7 - 3770 @3.4GHz
8 GB RAM
64 Bit windows 7

When I open suite 2 on this machine the siudi lights up like a goddamn Christmas tree and shows "PC" on its display...

What can I do next?

I have been looking at the specs for all three machines and the two that work both have the same usb chipset (intel 7 series - IE26 and IE2D) and the other is using intel 5 series 3B34 and 3B3C.

Are there any known issues with this chipset?

Hi Walter. I'm having the exact same issue. Did you have any luck fixing this?

Thanks,
