beginner troubles

I am moving from ESA2 to ESA pro to make use of the more advanced effect options. However I am not getting anywhere. I create a group of fixtures, but I am not able to add any effects or do anything in the timeline. So I am probably missing something basic.

Hi HCG,

Thank you for your message.

I see you have single channel fixtures patched which limits some of the effects you can do in ESA Pro. For example, Color Mixing effects are not available for single channel fixtures, but Static, Gradient and Curve effects can be used.

You can also use Matrix effects in Rects mode. See this section in the manual ...

ok, but I want to use the curve effect and I am not able to drag it into the timeline as described in the manual
