Need Help making a dimming switch....

Post by adam1976 »

Hello, can someone tell me the steps to make a switch that is dimmable for a channel but the function i need is between DMX values 80 and 95 on that particular channel. I need it to dim between those two values only. Can someone help me out with this... it would be greatly appreciated.

1.- Create a new switch, and assign the dimmer to the channel you want to dim. You have to right click on the channel, so you will have maximum and minimum levels.
2.- Adjust the maximum to 95 and the minimum to 80.
3.- Close and save your switch.
4. Go to "Button" "Settings" "Dimmer Speed" and there you select Show the dimmer fader and Draw the fader on the button, also under Settings....:Dimmer, select, Use the minimum and maximum levels of each channel and Force this function to work on all channels.

You will get a swtich, with a fader that will dim from 80 to 95 DMX value.
