INIT scene

Hi,

I have an understanding problem. When I open the button edit window of the INIT scene,
I see that all channels are in Off mode. As I understand the manual, a channel in off mode does not
send any value. How does the INIT scene work, if it doesn't send anything?
I would actually expect that it sends the value zero on all channels.

Please help me to understand ...

It does not send anything, so it is 0 if there is nothing else activated (switch) in the page.

Sorry, but I still don't understand ...
In practice the INIT scene makes movements stop and the light beam go off.
But if the INIT scene does not send anything, even not values zero, it basically
does not touch any channel. How does it then affect the channels?

Many thanks for your patience, Lutz

In practice I see that executing the INIT scene stops motions and shuts the light beam off.
In the manual I read that a channel in OFF mode does not affect that channel. So when
all channels of the INIT scene are in OFF mode as it looks like, the scene should not have
any effect. So where is my thinking fault?

Thanks, Lutz

Because when a scene is selected the previous one is released! And Init is a scene, so if it is selected the other scene is released. One scene at a time within the same page.
