Hello,
I would like to know how to do a fanning effect. It's , i think, the most common effect of lighting, but i can not figured out how to do this in SL with 10 wash moving lights.
Here a photo you can see the fixtures at the buttom with blue color, fanning to inside.
Thank you,
Gaston.

I think the best way to achieve this would be to position the 10 heads manually

Oh, but I have total of 30 fixtures, it would be impossible to do it manually.
is there any way to do it automatically?

Not that i can think of. I can think of a way of having them move in a fan but not a static fan. I think this will need to be created manually

It's a pitty, it's just a key in Pearl Avolites or granMa, and you can get very nice positions very easily. But doing it Manually with 30 fixtures it would take such a long time, and you will never get a perfect result.
Maybe its something that can be included in future releases of sunlite.
Can you make them move in a fan, then froze the fixtures with F12, and then get the position and save it as another scene?

You try adding a line effect with the effects generator and add some phasing, but it might be difficult. A static shape generator is on the todo list for the future...

This should defiantly be added. Its one of the things that would make suite and suite 2 more pro like. Just like the addition of pallettes did.
