Copy/Paste?

Hello. I am trying to Copy/Paste from a conventional page to the Master page and it does not work the way that it is explained in the manual. Is this function disabled in the demo mode, or I must be missing something.
This is what I did:
Left clicked on Technobeam Gobo switch in TB Page(one that I created), while holding down the left mouse button I drag it to Vocal Pos Scene in Master and I do not get any of the copy/paste options that appear in the manual.
Any tips?
