sl2006 will not run

sl2006 ver 20 mar 2007 downloaded 2007-08-22

Clicking on shortcut or opening sl2006.exe, the program exits immediately. There is no error message or log. It does not even show in the task manager.

The program will run on a clean install of Win XP. So I think there is a conflict somewhere. I've run virus and spyware scans.

OS: Win XP SP2

Sorry for my english, I'm french...
Same problem for me with XP.
The solution wasn't in the program's compatibility but in the windows help.
It suggest the same options than program's compatibility but it run !
