problems with audio analysis

when i turn on my sunlite program and look at the audio analysis with no sound going through the computer i am still getting noise. what can i do to fix this problem
You can set the sound level in "manual mode".
By default, it's set to "automatic" and when there is no signal, the level increases while no sound is detected...
