How to use SL2006 like a normal Preset-Console?

Hi,

how can i use SL2006 with an external Midi-Controller like a normal Preset-Console?

sometimes i would like to create a scene with a few pars, an movinglights in it. ok. it's possible to create a scene in the master-section of that current output. then i can link an external midifader to the dimmer of that scene, but, i have to turn it always on before i can use it. how can this be done automatically?

so, i just want to use SL2006 like every other simple lighting-console on this planet by storing scenes to a "preset"-fader...

Just an idea:

Don't make a scene, make a switch.
Then you can use the 'The switch is always ON' setting in the properties.

I think this should work.
