2048fc not recognized by 2004

I just received my sl2048fc interface and my 2004 software doesn't recognize it. I have reloaded the drivers. the 2006 software recognizes it
but I can't use the 2006 software because it won't save my hotkeys I have programed to my bottons. I tried the July 3 version but it didn't work either. I have tried the hotkeys on a new install of the 2006 software
and it still is not saveing them even on the demo pages. They do work when I assign them, but they are gone when I close and reopen the software.

The SL2048FC product is recognized by the 2004 sofware (April-10-2006) that is available from our website.
