Odd colours in Easyview 2006?

Hi All, I have a page set up for Martin Robocolor 400s, and I've been doing some offline programming via Sunlite 2006 & Easyview 2006. The Pro 400 has two colour wheels that can be used additively to create extra colour combinations. I have noticed that Easyview 2006 does not always display the ...

Hi there! I think the easiest way to do this is to create a Cycle using the scenes you want to step through, and then change the scene times to use the "Go" setting. Then you can step through the scenes using the Page Up and Page Down buttons. I use this technique a lot for syncing scene c...

Upgrade at PLASA?

Hi Bruno, Thanks for the recent newsletter. I am interested in upgrading my interface from the SL512EC to the new SL2048EC. Two questions: - Will you have stocks of the SL2048EC with you at PLASA in London so that I could do the upgrade there? - I'm pretty sure I'm in the SL512EC 2004-2006 upgrade c...

Hi Bruno, Thanks for such a prompt reply. I did have the Page priority set to LTP, but I now now discovered my problem is something to do with the Master page that I don't yet understand. If I disable DMX output for the Master page, then the fades work as expected. What I also found is that unchecki...

Fade function between scenes not working properly??

Hi Sunliters, I have just set up two scenes for some moving head fixtures, the only difference is the positions of the beams. I then enabled the Scene fade, and expected a smooth transition from one position to the next. This works fine in Sunlite 2004. What happens was that the X & Y channels z...

Ahh, the power of forums!!

I recently installed a new graphics card in the PC and got the "Your graphics card isn't powerful enough" message.

Checked this forum, found a possible solution, namely remove the EASYVIEW.INI file, tried it - BINGO! Back in business.

Thanks Shep2112!!

Sunlite 2006 and SL512EC Interface

Hi All,

A Happy New Year to all Sunliters!!

Can someone confirm whether the Sunlite 2006 software will function with an SL512EC Interface?

I seem to recall seeing something in the forum saying that it would, but the information on the new style website seems to suggest it won't.

Cheers, Vince

Hi Bruno Ca Va? I am using the 1st July '05 version of SL2004. To give you a bit more information, I am first creating a copy of the page (Page > Duplicate). I can then remap the individual fixtures Page > Settings > Channels > Change DMX Channels of the selected fixture, but the probelm with this a...

Trying to duplicate page, but use different DMX channels

Hi Sunliters! This is a follow on to a previous post I did a few months ago. I am trying to duplicate a page, but using different DMX channels. This is because I want to assign different channels to the physical fixtures, but retain all my Sunlite scene & switch programming for them. When I have...

Hi there! I am getting exactly the same problem with a Taidian TD-L036 Laser. As soon as I connect it to the SL512EC interface, the scan speed slows down, and whatever DMX value you set in Sunlite 2004, the Laser will not scan at the right speed. If I connect it to a Behringer LC2412 - it is fine. G...

Installing SL512EC in a rack case

Hi there! I would like to mount my SL512EC interface in a more robust metal case - most probably a 1U rack case. I don't see a problem with extending the USB and DMX interfaces, but I would like to extend the three LED indicators (Power, DMX and USB) as well. I can see there is a header block inside...

Remapping DMX channels for buttons in SL04

Hi all, I have created a page for a Hazer, and I now want to change the DMX channels assigned to the Hazer. However, when I change the Sunlite Page settings to the new channels (change the channels and do a Patch reset), the buttons I have set up on that page loose their values. I believe the progra...

Hi there! I also have an X-310 with the X20II DMX interface, but I have got it working OK with Sunlite 2004. It uses two channels, but they are the reverse of what the manual says. The first channel controls the fan speed, the second channel controls the haze volume. If you like, I can send you the ...

Network facility and SLNETWORK program

Hi all, Has anyone had any success with the SLNETWORK program? I have read the README file, and it says that a First Class Interface is needed, so as I only have the Economy one, I may fall at the first fence. I was trying the get the HTML approach to work with Sunlite 2004, but without any success....
