Hi Matt,
I really appreciate your feedback. I will be updating the DE3 protocol datasheet with some of your suggestions to make it clearer.
Kind Regards,
Nick.

Re: Suite 2 Crashes
Hi, Thank you for you message. I opened the Robin 100 SSL2 file in the newer ScanLibrary Editor v2 and can see that this profile contains many errors. This is what is causing the crashing. ScanLibrary Editor 2 is included with software such as ESA 2 but not Sunlite Suite 2. Please see attached image...

Re: Dimmer Priority
Hi Poldi, Thank you for your message. I think I understand your question. The dimmers have a priority and stack on top of each other. So, for example ... master dimmer 50% + button dimmer 50% = 25% output I am not quite sure what you mean by 'site dimmer'. Perhaps you mean master dimmer? Unfortunate...

Hi Knuepfing,
Thank you for your question.
Do you have the manual which shows you the DMX channels used by the CO2 shooter?
Kind Regards,
Nick.

Re: Creating Fixture Profile Issue
Hi, Thank you for your question. Channels 6 and 7 are for special functions of the light. While Easy View 3D can simulate common light features such as color, gobo wheels, strobe, pan, tilt etc, there are too many possible special functions in-built into the many tens of thousands of lights availabl...

Re: Madrix connect to sunlite suite 2?
Hi,
Thank you for your questions.
Sunlite Suite 2 software has been designed to work with the DMX interfaces from Nicolaudie and OEMs of Nicolaudie. It is not compatible with Madrix interfaces.
Kind Regards,
Nick.

Re: Compatability between New Releases
Hi Pete, Thank you for your question. Show files should work between software versions, but software differences can, on rare occasions, cause problems. The bigger the step in software versions, the more likely a problem is to occur. New versions of ESA2 software and nicolaudie firmware will contain...

Re: ESA2 problem
Hi, I am sorry this is a bug in the latest version of ESA 2 with SD card dmx controllers from Nicolaudie. It will be fixed in the next update to ESA 2. We actually recommend that the read memory function is only used in emergency situations. It is always better to keep a copy of the original show fi...

Re: Ethernet Trigger via UDP or TCP?
Hi Jon, Thank you for your question. I am afraid that kind of low level control is not available in the remote protocole if you need access to every channel individually. The controller is designed to work with pre-programmed scenes. There may be a workaround if there is a specific problem you can d...

Sunlite Suite 2 Beta - 27th March 2017
Hi Sunlite Suite 2 users, We have a new beta to try. It only has a 2 bug fixes over the previous version from January, but one is very significant for SUT (Sunlite Upgrade Technology) users who have purchased a limited time license for Sunlite Suite 2. Unlimited time licenses were unaffected. Change...

Re: Firmeware update fail
Hi, Thank you for your message. Error code XHL 17 could have been caused by a mistaken release of Stick-DE3 firmware 2.0. I recommend downloading one of the following HardwareManagers (Mac or PC) and 'updating' to the official, stable firmware 1.10. https://storage.googleapis.com/nicolaudie-eu-tools...

Re: Easy Statik Sence
Hi, Thank you for your question. I understand that you want the light to simply turn on and stay on. You do not need create a show which is 24 hours long because scenes by default are set to 'always loop'. This means they will repeat over and over, forever, until another scene is triggered. You only...
