How do you build a Parbar set?

I want to have them open in the visualizer as well as a 6 x Par 64 set - as 6 separate channels. I want to be able to drag the entire bar around and rotate it as a whole. Then, I need to duplicate it as stage left and right. It has to be fast to set up as well. I am able to bring in a bunch of 64's,...

I had to remap my Joy 300's (Elation) for and extra channel (16 each) so they would line up with my Console in the case of a Windows crash and subsequent console back up. Now they come up on channels 1, 17, 33, 49, 65, etc....instead of 1, 16, 31, 46, 61...! That way, I can have the lights addressed...

Do you think the easiest way to run a "bang" "bang" "bang" live show (moving and Pars) is with the MIDI set-up and a keyboard?

Seems to be pretty easy and fast.

Or maybe a Lighting controler and MIDI in and use both?

Hmmm. .......

Thanks...that gives me something to start with! I'm going to trade in my basic MIDI controler for one that has parameter adjustments and learn from the basics. ...and yes, I would rather have the MIDI with little documentation and good help than no MIDI at all! It might be a good idea to tell people...

Then rechecked the MIDI in option and restarted again. Works now. Now...how do I co...

I closed Midimon and I do not have any MIDI readings in that white box to the left of the auto set up tab under advanced in the button settings.

Now what?

I still do get readings in my music program and in Midimon.

MIDI Set up

I went ahead and bought a MIDI controler that is USB connected to my computer. I got the software you mentioned elsewhere in this forum called Midimon and I can see the MIDI notes on my laptop, but I just can't get it to trigger the midi switches in Sunlight. I have the latest version. I set the sta...

WOW! Sunlight saved my ass!

I was running about an hour behind on a concert last week 4/11/05. I had no time to program ANY of my moving lights AND it was no near dark....I would not have been able to even if I had the time. I could hardly see the computer screen because of the bright sunlight. I knew I was going to use the so...

Ok - I am missing something really basic. How to run differe

I have Martin 918's, 36 channels of dimming, Elation Joys, Fog machines, and color changers on Sunlite. I can run them all independently on different pages, but how do I control all of them on one button? I just don't get it. I have read the manual several times and I really do have experience in pr...

Thanks so much.....works like a charm....

I knew it was easy but with a show going on and all....forgot where that setting was.

BTW, can I alter the settings of all the time lines by multiple selection of the fixtures - or do I have to edit all of them - 1 at a time?
