Re: BCF 2000 problem
RTFM on the BCF. LOL
There is a toggle setting.
I got one today and it is near the back of the manual. It is there.
Pretty cool too!

Re: How to clear a Midi connection?
Actually, I figured it out. You have to right click on the console fader or button (that is being controlled)and clear the Midi message associated with the scene. Is there a shortcut to doing this, like a "clear channel" option. I started a brand new show and all of the Midi messages were ...

Re: some advices..
Go under the "fixtures" area and select the fixtures that you want to "breakout". Make a new group and assign them to an Function (f1 f2 f3 f4.....) key and you have quick control over selected fixtures. This is good for mixing up groups of several fixtures' colors and gobos. You...

Re: Bug in last version(november-2008)
Midi notes call scenes. If you call a scene (init) twice, it will blackout the whole show. I use that for overall blackouts at the ends of songs with a blue scene. I just double hit my Midi Keyboard "blue scene" twice - quickly - and then one more time to turn the blue scene back on and it...

Re: Midi not working in Sunlite, but works in all other programs
Go to Starting Parameters Audio/Midi Test Midi View the Status in the window. Check that you are receiving Midi and that you are getting MIdi NOTES (value of 192 - I think, but might be 144...don't recall) It needs to see notes, not commands. Use a keyboard to get it working first (ensuring notes) a...

Re: create groups ?
I feel it is one of the more confusing things in the manual, and an area, I could stand to learn a little more, but it is in there. Select the fixtures button above the Master page bar. You can then select your exact fixtures to change the attributes. Don't forget to record the new color look as a &...

DMX in - Awesome.
I have decided that I will be using a "Par Board" to control my conventionals (Pars) and run it through Sunlite to the main DMX send to the stage. I just can't achieve the Rock-n-Roll feel using a mouse or keyboard and I can't get the dimming feel I need for certain looks. (Ultimately, I h...

Control using a guitar foot pedal.
After quite a bit of searching for a pedal that sends Midi "notes" and not just commands, I was able to get the Berringer FBC1010 pedal to work perfectly with Sunlite. Just an FYI to save someone some time. My local rock band now has over 2000 beams of light coming from the back row and th...
