Re: Problem with micro pan/tilt when limiting the area

Hi mikachu and Alex, I hope you had a good Christmas. I have now replicated this problem both in Sunlite Suite 2 and 3 and have reported it on our bug reporting system to fix. The problem occurred when the X/Y grid is restricted only and it happens in both the 3D viewer and in reality when connected...

Re: choppy playback of curve effect after export from scenebuilder

Hi HCG, Please see attached image to see the settings I used to create the curve. > if I want to reverse the direction of an effect, how would I do that? You would need to invert the order of the steps once they're created. I am sorry, unfortunately ESA2 does not have that feature. Kind Regards, Nick.

Re: Sunlite Suite 2 + windows XP

Hi rsteph483 , I am sorry seems that Windows 10N does not support Media Play back capabilities and therefore does not support Sunlite Suite 2 as it relies on media libraries included with the standard version of Windows. Windows N editions were created as a solution to anti-trust law suits brought a...

Re: choppy playback of curve effect after export from scenebuilder

Hi HP, > I didn´t know that when playing back from ESA that the file was stored on the interface. When playing back from ESA2 it's not stored on the device. But when you generate the scene (the tick button) from Scene Builder window it is stored as a series of steps inside a scene. > Another questio...

Re: choppy playback of curve effect after export from scenebuilder

Hi there, Thank you for your message. You could try reducing the compression used when generating the effect. Please see facebook article (link below) about saving memory. You want to do the opposite! The SLESA-UE7 has almost unlimited memory with the SD card slot. https://www.facebook.com/notes/nic...

Re: High resolution displays (4K...)

Hi sbehnsen,

It is possible to use it on a high resolution display simply by dropping the display resolution to something lower. You will also need to adjust the font scaling to 100% on the Display window in Windows. Anything above this will cause problems with the interface.

Kind Regards,

Nick.

Re: Problem with micro pan/tilt when limiting the area

Hi, Thank you for these reports. I started testing today with the generic moving head (16bit movement), with restricted movement and visually noticed some 'wobble' in the 3D viewer. Are you experiencing this in the real world, with moving heads? I will look into it in more detail with further tests ...

Re: Compatability?

Hi Andy, I am sorry, no it will not work with the STICK-KE1 or DE3 models. It will only work with new and current dmx interfaces which are upgradable via SUT (Sunlite Update Technology). Please see this post about compatibility. http://forum.nicolaudie.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=40936 Kind Regards...

Re: Calender setings

Hi Gerd, Connect your Stick-DE3 to HardwareManager. 1) Check that Settings > T Time enable is ticked. (It is by default) 2) Check the Clock > the time is correct. Sometimes a DE3 won't hold time if the LIR2032 battery needs replacing. A great way to test time triggers is to use HardwareManager. - Go...

Re: EXTENSION socket

Hi PVB, While it's possible to power the DE3 via the extension socket, we STRONGLY advise against this! As you can see on the datasheet (link below, bottom of Page 2), "VIN pin 20 is not electrically protected and should not be used" : https://storage.googleapis.com/nicolaudie-eu-litteratu...
