Re: Page and General (Controller) dimmers

Hi Simon, I've been doing some more work with some other fixtures - specifically a pair of Futurelight MH640s. The standard shipped MH640 profile has the dimmer channel set as a "free" channel, and the same thing happened with these - the page dimmer would work (so long as the dimmer chann...

Re: Console file conversion?

Hi Simon, No problem. I've gone ahead and built a new BCF2000/BCR2000 console, and the Console Auto Setup feature means its pretty straightforward to configure the Midi settings. Would it be of any value for me to submit this "dual" console to Nicolaudie? If so, how would I go about doing ...

Page and General (Controller) dimmers

Hi All, I am having a concerted effort to set up Sunlite Suite 2 to work with a BCF2000/BCR2000 combination, and I've hit a little snag - nothing to do with that combo I hasten to add. I have set up separate pages for each fixture type, and have configured a BCF fader to act as the dimmer for each p...

Console file conversion?

Hi Sunliters, Does anyone know if it is possible to convert Sunlite Suite CSL console files into Sunlite Suite 2 CSL2 files? I spent a fair bit of time creating a composite BCF2000/BCR2000 console a while ago, and I'd like to use it with Suite 2, but unless I've missed something I can't do that, as ...

Re: [siudi 8a] Firmware upgrade

Thanks Simon.

I hit the same issue, but a bit of careful tin foil moulding did the trick.

Interface now at Firmware 1.08 and Suite 2 (15th Feb release) working fine.

Cheers, Vince

BCR2000 Controller with Suite2

Hi All, I think this is primarily a question for the development guys, but any thoughts regarding the use of a BCR2000 with Suite 1/2 gratefully received! I plan to use the three rows of rotary encoders to bring up chase/cascade type effects, pre-programmed on switches. The aim being to fade in (and...

Re: Editing Pan/Tilt in Easytime & Cycle control

Hi Simon, Thanks as always for your super-prompt response. Your explanation of the Suite 2 cycle logic helps a lot, so I can play with that now. I do intend to trigger from a BCF2000, so I can assign the appropriate functions to MIDI commands. I will not get too attached to the current logic though!...

Editing Pan/Tilt in Easytime & Cycle control

Hi All, I'm setting up some switches with XY movements for a pair of moving heads. I'm using the Easytime Pan/Tilt facility to set up a simple circle move for both fixtures, which is fine. What I now want to do is individually adjust the position of the moves so the fixtures point in a more suitable...

Suite 2 Beta test - Cycle observations

Hi All, I've just started to look at Sunlite Suite 2, using the 3rd November 2010 version. I started by creating a few scenes and switches, and then created a cycle using some of the scenes in a simple sequence. I use cycles extensively in my Sunlite Suite programming to manually step through a set ...

Saving MIDI mapping for Sunlite pages?

Hi Sunliters, I recently installed the latest version of Sunlite (29th May 2009), but discovered when I used it for the first time, all the MIDI command mappings that allow me to use a BCF2000 controller had vanished. This may be a consequence of overlaying a new version on top of an existing instal...

Hi Bruno, Thanks for your fast reply. I actually improved the dimmer response by making a small change in the Sunlite starting parameters (Controller -> Starting parameters -> Outputs): By default the first two DMX Universes have check boxes by them but neither are checked. I checked the first one, ...

DMX Channels transmitted by SL2048EC

Hi All, A quick question - does the SL2048EC transmit all 512 DMX channels all the time? I ask because I am experiencing an odd problem with a dimmer pack. I set up a simple fade up/fade down program in Sunlite and left it running. The dimmer pack (a Soundlab G018VB SRC-192) has a small LCD display ...

Hi Marc,

Thanks for your reply. It is not every software developer that is so attentive to their customers.

It is still a great product, and I just wish I had more time to learn and harness it's power!
