Re: Midi velocity feedback
Alright I'll give that a try and report back. Just wanted to say, I really love Sunlite. It is slowly becoming more user friendly and feature rich which will make it even better. My show went perfect and once you get the hang of the programming it is actually quite simple; also, the console support ...

Midi velocity feedback
Does anyone know how to setup an Akai APC controller so that when you press the button on the console it selects the switch and the button STAYS lit on the controller? I have messed with the velocity and have gotten the button to turn red and orange but I cannot figure out how to stay lit until dese...

Re: Questions about which functions to use.
Ok, haha....I was overthinking all of it. I was thinking the position wizard was to actually tell the software how the fixture was oriented and that it would affect things such as moving head positions and patterns.
All it really is for is easy selection when programming. Thanks Simon.

Questions about which functions to use.
The answers to these questions may be obvious but I'm curious to know if my thinking is correct. 1. What is the difference between favorites and scenes? Both can save all attributes on all pages at any given time provided that all pages are linked to the master page and you are creating the scene in...

Consoles
Before I choose a midi controller I wanted to clarify something; can you only use the controllers that are listed in the console window? Also; I asked this in another thread but thought i'd repeat it here. Are you able to use midi controllers as flash buttons? Our show relies on my ability to cue to...

Re: bug + request
Simon; so you can't setup a midi controller so that you can use a pad or key as a flash button? If you want to have a button for flashing the strobes you have to use a keyboard?

Re: MTC sync
If anyone is interested I think I figured out how to accomplish this level of synchronization between a dj and Sunlite. My dj has Serato to Ableton bridge. In Ableton you can create midi signal and place it anywhere along the timeline of a song that the dj will be playing. When ableton passes this m...

Re: MTC sync
Thanks Simon. I should have clarified. There will be opening djs prior to the show that I will just be running cues for. When the main show goes on it will be a 10 song set list including the dj that works for me and the performer's manager. If I can use MTC I will program all 10 shows; if I cannot ...

MTC sync
I really want to be able to use MTC to sync my lights up to the music being played by our dj. The problem is that his software, Serato, does not generate and send MTC as far as I'm aware. What would be a possible solution to this problem? I need my timelines to be cued by the dj upon playing a song....

Cannot get RGB Laser to work
I have the user manual. The laser has multiple modes which is controlled by channel one. All channels after that control things like color, speed, frequency etc. etc. The problem is the laser is unresponsive to every other channel after channel one. For instance; one mode on channel one is called &q...

Question about fixture profiles
Hi, I recently bought Sunlite Suite FC. I noticed that the fixture profile library does have a few Shinp lasers but not the lasers that I have. I know I can add a fixture profile, but is there any solution on how to view it in the 3d view or at least a similar fixture? Thanks in advance for any advi...
