Button to Trigger Scenes in a Cycle

Hi there, Is there a way to manually trigger scenes in a cycle from my keyboard? I am looking to link a key so that every time it is triggered it will jump to the start of the next scene in a cycle. The functionality here is that I would be able to put a song's worth of scenes in order into a cycle ...

Fade Between X/Y Palletes

I'm hoping to get some information about ways to automate x/y fading between palletes. I read through the SS2 manual and searched on the forums but didn't see much information about this. What are some different ways to do it? I tried using Easytime with an X/Y gradient but for some reason my pallet...

Easystep Step Editing

I'm having some issues with Easystep. It seems as though some steps that I create and make changes to are linked to every other step. For example... I program step 1. I create step 2 - copying the existing information from the previous step and adding on to it. Usually by the 3rd or 4th step any cha...

Matrix Opacity Gradients/Fades

Hi there, I'm looking to get some information about what options I have to create a fading in and out effect for a matrix of RBG fixtures. I'm looking to have a generic "random" matrix effect fade in onto a group rect of fixtures on a matrix of led rgb tubes. It seems like a pretty basic f...

Re: RGB Fixtures Being Sent Extra Information

The issue ended up being a set of fixtures having grounding issues. It was not a software problem.

RGB Fixtures Being Sent Extra Information

Hi there, Wondering if I can get some input on this problem... I have patched a matrix of 3 channel RGB LED fixtures. They have worked great in the past but I am now seeing some issues with them. The Problem: The fixtures behave as though I am sending them random bits of information. They respond to...

Patching Multiple Fixtures Per Address

I was hoping to have another question answered... I am working with a series of LED tubes that take up about 320 channels combined. They connect not via dmx, but use a non-dmx, proprietary connection between them. In order to set them up within a dmx daisy chain I have to use a dmx-to-proprietary co...

Grouping Fixtures in a Live Situation

Hi all, My name is Jordan and I have been working with SS2 for a couple of weeks now. I work as a touring LD for a mid-range US band and have been enjoying playing around and getting to know the software. At this point it's looking like we are headed towards using SS2 as our primary rig on an upcomi...
